House. 1590, altered C19. Coursed squared limestone rubble and ashlar
dressings, slate roofs with raised stone coped gables, single ball finial,
single gable funnel and quadruple funnel gable and ridge stacks with
moulded cornices. T-plan. 2 storey irregular 5 bay front with plinth. Off
centre gabled 2 storey porch has a planked door in chamfered 4 centred
arched surround with moulded hood. To left a 2 light mullioned window and
beyond a 4 fixed light C19 window with slender timber mullions and
segmental head. To right are 2 four light mullioned windows. To first floor
is a further C19 4 light window to left and a single 3 light and 2 four
light mullioned windows. All mullioned windows have cavetto moulded
mullions and moulded heads. To the gable of the porch a rectangular stone
bears the date 1590 beneath a moulded cornice.
