SWINEGATE (West Side)
Nos. 8 and 9

II

Late C18, brick, pantile roof. 3-storey, band continues sill of 1st
floor windows. 3 windows (centre ones now bricked up), flush framed,
hung sashes with glazing bars in shaped flat stone arches with
Keystones. Ground floor - round arched passageway, brick filled
fanlight. No. 8 - original window and plain stone lintel to door.
No. 9 - door has original carved stone flat arch with Keystone, but
is boarded up, new window to right and rendered plinth.
