Early C19 or before a symmetrical pair. Brick. Two storeys. Seven flush sash
windows with glazing bars, the central one blind. Each side of central arched
through-passage (with mid C20 door) is later Victorian shopfront, evidently very
little altered, with moulded glazing bars and corniced facia terminating in gablets
crowned with balls and supported on double brackets over pilasters. Slate roof;
wooden eaves cornice; quoins.

Nos. 42 to 56 (consec) Nos. 77, 78, Nos.80 to 84 (consec) and No. 86 and 87 form a group.
