SK 94 NE ANCASTER HIGH DIKE
(north end, west side)

4/1 Heathland House

G.V. II

Farm House; mid C18 with C19 and C20 additions. Coursed limestone rubble with
ashlar dressings. Concrete tiled roof, one brick stack. L-shaped plan. Two
storey with first floor band and cornice. Three bay front with ashlar quoins,
middle bay slightly advanced with stone coped gable. Central C20 glazed door
covered by C20 stone porch, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows with stone
surrounds, and emphasised keyblocks. Above 3 similar windows with surrounds.
Over the central window is a semi-circular blank panel with a plain stone surround
and key stone.
