Hotel, formerly house; C17 remodelled in late C18, with C19 additions.
Coursed limestone rubble and ashlar, slate roof with stone coped gables and
stacks. Two storey five bay front in ashlar with coursed rubble plinth.
Central C19 glazed door with leaded porch in the Chinese taste on
on C19 decorative iron supports, flanked by 2 glazing bar sashes with
flat lintels and splayed keystones. All first floor windows similar.
At the rear is a C17 two light ovolo moulded mullioned window; a second is
built in to a C19 brick extension to rear. Interior retains late C18
shutters and doors.
