SK 94 NE NORMANTON OFF HEATH LANE

4/110 Normanton Hill House

Farmhouse, 1815, coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and
brick saddleback stone coped gables with 2 moulded stacks and concrete
interlocking tile roof. 2½ storeys with plinth and first and second
floor bands. 3 bay front with ashlar quoins and central porch with
flat roof and plain door with semicircular head, flanked by single sash
windows. Above are 3 similar windows and on the top floor 3 smaller
sashes, the right hand one having glazing bars. All windows have plain
stone lintels. Just above the second floor band is a centrally set oval
datestone inscribed 1815. To the rear is a lower 2 storey wing of the
same design and a further 2 storey extension in brick.
