G.V. II
Reading Room and Library, now redundant. 1830 endowed by
Christopher Turnor of Stoke Rochford Hall. Squared limestone
rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, pantile roof, later red
brick rear wing with asbestos roof. L-plan. Single storey, 3
bay front with 3 glazing bar sashes having flat ashlar lintels.
A similar window to the gable end and above in the gable a
datestone with "CT 1830" in raised lettering.
