Cottage. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed ironstone
rubble, pantile roof with one stone coped gable and kneeler, with
single gable and ridge brick stacks. 2 storey, 4 bay front, the
right hand 2 are slightly advanced, having off-centre panelled
door covered by C20 timber porch. To left a 2 light casement
with segmental head, to right 2 two light glazing bar casements
with timber lintels. To first floor 3 smaller wide 2 light
glazing bar casements to eaves. The right hand corner is
rounded with an unusual kneeler perhaps suggesting an earlier use
for agricultural purposes. Interior retains chamfered beam with
run out stops and a small late C18 panelled cupboard.
