Pair of houses. Late C18, minor C20 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings. Slate and
concrete tiled roofs, raised stone coped gables, single ridge and
gable yellow brick stacks with stone bases. 2 storey plus
garret, 6 bay front, each house has centre half glazed door
flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first floor are 3
similar windows, but the central ones are very narrow. All
openings have timber lintels. House to left has C20 wooden
porch, and between the houses at first floor level is a bronze
Britannia Insurance Co. fire plaque.
