Stables, waggon hovels, store. Mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble
with ashlar and red brick dressings. Pantile roofs. Single
storey stable range of 8 bays terminates in taller left hand bay,
with fixed glazing bar light under timber lintel. 3 planked
doors, an open passageway and 2 fixed or louvred lights have
segmental ashlar heads and to right is a pair of C20 timber doors
under wooden lintel. Beyond is a 2 storey 8 bay waggon hovel,
the left bay being a planked door, the remaining 7 bays open
brick basket arches on brick piers. To first floor 3 glazing bar
pivot lights with brick segmental heads. Included for group
value only.
