Mid C18. 2 storeys and attics in ashlar. Stone slate roof with 2 stone stacks
at gable ends. Slightly taller than No 2 (qv). 2 cambered dormers. 2 windows
between 3 pilasters in Roman Doric, capitals to top floor, with moulded cornices
above both ranges of windows. Band continues ground floor cills. Windows are
in shouldered moulded architraves with triple keystones, double-hung sashes with
glazing bars. Good panelled room of mid C18 on ground floor, but otherwise little
interior work of merit. doorway with door of 3 panels under semi-circular fanlight
and left-hand side of the premises occupied by No 3 are described in the notes
for No 2.

Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Town Hall and the Church of St Mary form a group.
