Mid C17 stone front of 2 storeys and attics. Stone slate roof. 2 3-storey gabled
bays, the right being rectangular, the left canted, Each contains a 6-light mullioned
window on ground and 1st floors and 2-light window in each gable. Date stone 166l
in right hand gable, 1937 in left hand gable. The front was removed in 1937 from
the High Street, where it was the office of the Stamford Mercury, and re-erected
here.
