9/29 The Old Rectory

Incorrectly shown as Rectory on OS map. Former rectory, now
house. 1827, by Thomas Boyfield. Ashlar, hipped slate roof, 2
ashlar wall stacks. 2 storey, 3 bay front having central
tripartite glazed double doors with stone architrave and low
pediment, flanked by single canted bay windows containing glazing
bar sashes, having plain parapets. To first floor are 3 glazing
bar sashes. In the right hand side are 2 light casements with
Gothick tracery.
