adjacent cottage

Pair of estate cottages. Late C18, remodelled mid C19. Coursed
squared limestone rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, hipped
pantile roofs with 2 stone central raised stone coped gables with
ball finials and 2 moulded stone ridge stacks. 2 storey
irregular 4 bay front, arranged 1:2:1, the central earlier bays
slightly advanced and each gabled. To the eaves are plain stone
brackets. Pair of 2 light windows flanked by single smaller
windows. To first floor are 4 two light windows, all windows are
glazing bar casements with plain raised stone surrounds. In the
side wall a through eaves dormer of 2 lights has moulded ashlar
shaped gablette and ball finial.
