4/163 Grange Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17, refenestrated C18, altered and extended mid C19.
Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, slate
roof with stone coped gables and 2 red brick C19 stacks, one with
ashlar base. L-plan. 2 storey with garret, 3 bay front having
central flush panelled door, flanked by single glazing bar
sashes. To first floor 2 similar windows. All openings have
plain painted ashlar lintels. In the front wall can be seen
blocking and evidence of earlier fenestration. To the right a
lower 2 storey, 2 bay C19 service range with plain casement and
half glazed door. To first floor a small sliding glazing bar
sash.
