Pair of cottages. Early C18, altered late C18 and C19, C20.
Squared coursed limestone rubble, yellow pantile roof with single
ridge and 2 gable red brick stacks. Single storey with attics,
irregular 5 bay front having off-centre half glazed door flanked
by single 3 light plain casements, with to right a 2 light
glazing bar casement and a cantedbay window having fixed glazing
bar lights and a hipped lead roof. To first floor a pair of
sliding glazing bar sashes. Above the door a panel bearing "A"
for Ancaster with coronet over.
