G.V. II

House. Early C18, altered C19 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble
with pantile roofs, central red brick stack. Single storey with
attics, 4 bay front having off-centre half glazed door, flanked
by single 3 light casements with beyond to right a similar
window. All openings have timber lintels. In the wall by the
door an "A" for Ancaster with coronet over. In the roof 2 gbled
dormers with 2 light casements and rendered cheeks. Included for
group value only.
