stores at Tower
Farm

Waggon hovel with hayloft over, and attached stores. Early C19,
altered and extended mid C19. Coursed limestone rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings, red brick. Pantile roofs with
single stone coped gable to barn, plain tiled roof to later
store. L-plan. Central 2 storey waggon hovel with hay loft
over, having 3 openings divided by square ashlar pillars with
chamfered corners from which spring semi-circular brick arches
with brick tympana and wooden lintels. Ashlar imposts and band.
Above are 2 narrow planked openings. To right a single storey
block with 2 narrow lights. To left a projecting gabled block
containing 2 paired semi-circular headed lights with above a
planked opening.
