House, now post office. c.1800, late C19. Red brick with
painted ashlar dressings. Pantile mansard roof with gable
stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bay front with quoins and first
floor band. Central deep set doorway with semi-circular head,
flanking slender columns with moulded capitals, traceried
fanlight and partially glazed door. Shop windows project on each
side, each with 3 lights, the central light with a semi-circular
glazing bar at top. 2 glazing bar sashes above with serpentine
lintels and raised keystones. 2 raking dormers above with small
glazing bar sashes.
