Milepost. Late C19. Cast iron painted white with black
detailing. North side inscribed "To Bourne 9 miles" meets south
side inscribed "To Billingboro 1 mile" to form a sharp projecting
angle with upper inverted triangle inscribed "Billingboro
Parish". All on tall base with projecting angle. Cast whole
with black painted bands defining each face.
