Spring Farmhouse

Threshing barn. Late C17, remodelled early C19. Limestone
rubble and ashlar, some red brick. Pantile roof with brick
decorated eaves. Barn with single storey and garret to right
with high plinth. Large opening with wooden lintel, segmental
head and double plank doors. Clear masonry break to right and
slit air vent. Early C19 lean-to projects to left with quoins
and red brick band set low down. Opening blocked with red brick.
Plank door in west return. Bay set back to left with plank door
and shuttered opening above, both with segmental heads. Lower bay
to left with small shuttered opening with segmental head. East
gable end with first floor shuttered opening. Included for group
value only.
