rubble to the quoins, Collyweston slate and asbestos sheet roof

G.V. II

House. Late C17, refronted 1809, minor C20 alterations. Ashlar
and some coursed rubble to the base, Collyweston slate roof,
raised stone coped gables. Single ridge and 2 gable ashlar
stacks. 2 storey, 5 bay front having off-centre C20 door flanked
by single 3 light casement with beyond to the right a 2 light
casement in the blocking of an earlier door and a 3 light similar
window. To first floor are 3 three light casements and above the
door a datestone inscribed "AA 1809". All openings have ashlar
lintels with keystones. Interior retains an inglenook fireplace
in righthand room, with chamfered girder and run out stop.
