5/15 Barn at Banks Farm


Barn. c.1600, altered early C18, C20. Red brick, now rendered
and coursed limestone rubble to right hand end, with steeply
pitched Collyweston slate roof. Single storey, 2 bay front
having central full height sliding doors and to right a planked
door. The red brick walls may be the underbuilding of an earlier
timber frame. Interior has 4 bays of staggered butt purlin roof
with wind braced centre bay.
