Barn

House and barn. C17, altered C19. Coursed limestone rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings, Collyweston slate roof having raised
stone coped gables, single ashlar ridge stack with moulded
cornice, single red brick wall and gable stacks. Pantile roof to
barn. L-plan, the barn attached to rear wing. Single storey
with attics, 3 bay front, the right hand 2 bays are separately
gabled. Off-centre panelled door flanked by single 2 light plain
casements, all with timber lintels. To first floor a single
sliding sash with moulded stone cornice. All windows occupy
original C17 openings and have ashlar reveals. In the roof a
single gabled dormer with rendered cheeks. To the left a service
block with a projecting semi-circular oven. To the right hand
side elevation a 2 light casement with stone cornice, a blocked
doorway and 2 light fixed window. The barn to the rear has a
central planked door occupying an original wider opening. To
either side are triangular breathers.
