Former house, now library. Late C18. Ashlar. Collyweston slate
roof, raised stone coped gables, 2 gable and single ridge ashlar
stacks. 2 storey with attics, 6 bay front, with first floor cill
band and a dentillated wooden eaves cornice. Central 6 panel
door with traceried overlight, wood panelled reveals, with to
left a canted bay window having moulded cornice and panelled
parapet flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To right an
elliptical bow window contains a single plain sash, flat lead
roof, beyond is a single glazing bar sash. To first floor are 6
glazing bar sashes. All windows have plain ashlar architraves
and flush keystones. In the roof are 2 gabled dormers with
glazing bar sashes and dentillated cornices, rendered cheeks.
