2/220 Cottage west of
bridge over
River Glen

Cottage. C.1800 with C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble
with ashlar dressings. Pantile roof having 2 brick ridge stacks.
2 storey, 4 bay front having central 4 panel door with open
wrought iron porch, flanked by single glazing bar sashes, with to
right a fixed light. All under plain ashlar lintels. To first
floor are 4 glazing bar sashes to eaves. To the left a 2 storey
2 bay extension with slate roof, planked double doors, open
doorway with segmental arched head and 2 light fixed window.
