Gates, piers and flanking walls. Ashlar and wrought iron. Late
Cl7 piers and late Cl7 gates. Pair of wrought iron gates with
side screens, decorated with scrolled lyre shapes and at the
centre circles with scrolled surrounds. The overthrow has
knopped curlicues, the central one with the wildman Bertie badge.
Flanked by square rusticated piers with moulded bases and
capitals. On the front are fluted panels. The piers support
swagged ashlar urns, with human head knops. To either side are
ramped ashlar walls with chamfered plinths and ashlar copings and
beside the gates scrolled supports.
