No.43 (The Chalet)

G.V. II

Cottage. 1785 with C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble
with ashlar dressings and pantile roof having single red brick
gable stack. Single storey, 5 bay front having central C20
planked door with Tudor arched head and to left a 2 light and a 4
light wooden cross mullioned windows. To right are 2 two light
leaded casements. All windows have wooden lintels. In the right
gable a datestone with the initials JMF and date 1785.
