Small country house. Late C18 with early C19 alterations and
extension. Rendered red brick with slate roofs having raised
stone coped gables with kneelers and 2 gable and one wall stack.
The addition to left has a hipped end and slate roof with lead
dressings. The main block is of 3 storeys and 3 bays having
paired brackets to eaves, with central half glazed door and plain
overlight covered by a stone porch supported on pairs of square
Doric columns, with plain frieze and low pedimented lead roof,
flanked by single glazing bar sashes to ground. To first floor
are 3 shorter glazing bar sashes and to second floor are 3 square
similar windows. To left is a 2 storey addition with to ground
floor a canted bay with tall french windows and fixed lights
separated by facetted mullions supporting a hipped slate roof
with lead dressings. To first floor are 2 glazing bar sashes.
All windows have low cambered heads and stucco lintels with
fluted key blocks on the main block.
