Farmhouse. C15 with C17 and C19 alterations and addition.
Squared coursed limestone rubble with massive quoins and some
painted brick. Steeply pitched pantile roof with 2 external
gable stone stacks with brick tops. 2 storey irregular 4 bay
front with first floor brick band and stone plinth on left gable.
Central half glazed door with to left 2 glazing bar sashes and to
right a similar window, all with brick patching around. To first
floor are 2 plain casements. To right is a 2 storey 2 bay C19
brick service block. The interior has a chamfered girder with
pyramidal stop. At first floor level are 3 huge cambered tie
beams, 2 of which are in the 2 gable walls. The wall plates are
also exposed over the window heads and these are also of a large
size. In the left hand gable stack is a C17 stone fireplace.
