2/10 Barn and Gin Gang
at Binbrook Hill

Barn and Gin Gang. c.1840. Red brick, hipped pantile roofs with
tile dressings. 2 storey, 3 bay barn having plain eaves course
with single storey gin house on left hand end. Barn has 2
planked doors with semi-circular heads and to right a rectangular
planked opening. To first floor are 2 segmental headed planked
doors. 4 sets of breather slots to each floor. The gin house
has a facetted end and the roof timbers are supported on brick
piers, all but one of the open sides are now planked. Interior
has a massive tie beam for central pivot, supporting a king post
roof.
