Cottage. C17, altered late C18 and C20. Originally mud and
stud, cased in brick, corrugated iron roof over thatch, with
brick ridge stack. 2 unit, originally lobby entry plan. Single
storey with garrets, 3 bay front, with central 2 light casement,
to left a glazing bar fixed light and to right a 2 light sliding
sash. The verge and gable are weatherboarded. Interior has
clasped purlin roof and large tie beam 1'6" above floor level,
the first floor has been inserted late C18 and has slightly
chamfered beams and joists. The original ladder stair to the
garret is still in use.
