Cottage. C17, mid C19, C20. Timber frame, colourwashed mud and
stud, some colourwashed red brick. Thatched roof clad in
corrugated iron. Single central ridge stack. Lobby entrance. 2
storeys, 3 bay front plus mud and stud lean-to to left and C20
brick lean-to to right. Brick plinth. Central doorway with
overlight, panelled door and lattice work porch. Doorway flanked
by 2 tiers of single bay windows with casements, on each side.
Doorway to left with plank door. Doorway to right with C20
glazed door. North side with casement to right and sliding sash
to left. Mud and stud exposed inside lean-to to left with beamed
ceiling and posts. Timber frame in main body of house embedded
in fabric and only discernable in places.
