1/56 The Cottage


Cottage, now store. Late C17, altered early C19 and early C20.
Mud and stud, partly cased in brick and raised 4 courses.
Corrugated iron roof with central brick stack. Lobby entry plan.
Single storey with garret, 3 bay front. Central boarded door, to
left a 3 light glazing bar sash and a very small 2 light stair
window, and to right a 2 light similar window. To right is a
lean-to timber shed. The interior retains traces of the timber
stud construction and small chamfered beams.
