II
Farmhouse. Late C17 with mid C18 refronting, C19 alterations and
rear addition. Red brick with painted stone dressings, concrete
tiled roof with raised stone coped gables, 2 external gable
painted brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storey 3 bay front with moulded
stone parapet, having C19 projecting porch with flat roof and
parapet, half glazed panelled door with glazing bar side lights
and overlights, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. To first
floor are 3 similar windows. All windows have splayed painted
stone lintels. Interior has fittings largely dating from C19
alterations but on first floor is one simply stopped and
chamfered beam and the roof is clasped purlin in softwood with
larch pole rafters.
