6/10 Cawkwell House

II

House. c.1825. Stock brick with rendered and colourwashed
dressings. Hipped slate roof with 2 ridge stacks with moulded
cornice with small ornate iron brackets. 2 storeys, 5 bay front
with plinth and first floor painted sill band. Central doorway
with porch with free standing fluted columns with wall pilasters,
triglyph and guttae frieze and entablature, fielded panel and
partially glazed door with fielded panel reveal. Doorway flanked
by 2 glazing bar sashes on each side with 5 glazing bar sashes
above. All the windows with cambered wedge lintels.
