House, now administration block. Mid C18, remodelled early C19, mid C19. Pink, cream, red and burn brick. Mid C19 slate roof with dentillated eaves and brick gable stacks. 2 storeys, S bay front with central doorway with pilastered doorcase with open pediment, traceried fanlight and partially glaze, fielded panelled door. Doorway flanked by 2 early C19 glazing bar sashes on each side, with S glazing bar sashes above. All the windows with early C19 brick architraves. Interior: Little-disturbed original plan form, retaining many contemporary fittings, including principal turned baluster dog-legged stair with moulded handrails, panelled reveals to sash windows, 2, 4 and 6-panel doors, the panels raised and fielded, some doors with L-shaped strap hinges. In built-panelled cupboard to principal left-hand ground floor reception room, with raised and fielded panelled doors, fluted pilasters and decorative frieze. C18 basement hearth with contemporary range, and late C18 first floor cast-iron hob grate. Contemporary pegged collar and tie beam roof trusses with single purlins and rafters, with some supplementary C20 timbers.
