House. c.1870. Red brick with ashlar dressings. Hipped slate
roof with overhanging eaves with small brick brackets; ornate
wrought iron ridges; and several irregularly placed tall brick
stacks including a projecting stack on the south return with
tumbling. 2 storey, 3 bay front with first floor dentillated and
raised brick lintel band. Semi-circular 2 storey bay to left
with conical roof topped by decorative wooden frieze surmounted
by further semi-circular hipped roof. 3 plain sashes with single
plain sash to right. Wall beyond is angled towards projecting
stack on return wall and contains a narrower plain sash. 5 plain
sashes above, that to the right, narrower. All the windows with
ashlar lintels with brackets, brick hood moulds with label stops
and with sloping panels below the sash with ashlar blocks below
them echoing the lintel. Doorway in south return.
