5/20 Park Farm House

Farmhouse. Late C17, reduced and altered C18, Cl9 with C20
alterations. Red brick in English bond, render, deeply hipped
pantile roof, single wide axial stack with brick band. Probably
a cut down 'U' plan, the front wings removed. 2 storey, 4 bay
front, partly with plinth, the right hand 3 bays are in the
centre and slightly advanced. The recessed ends are rendered
where the front wings seem to have been removed. Off-centre half
glazed C10 door with to left 2 and to right a single glazing bar
sashes with segmental heads. To first floor 3 similar windows to
eaves and a small blocked opening over the door. In the rear
are 3 small rectanqular windows with wide morticed frames and
small sliding sashes. Interior. Chamfered girders and
bressumer. One chamfered and dowelled door frame, with C17
planked door and timber latch, to generous timber spiral
staircase. Roof is of larch poles, with through purlins and
collars.
