House. C16, altered late C18, mid C19, extended late C19, early
C20. Rendered coursed chalk rubble, red brick, pantile roofs,
decorative ridge tiles, stone coped gables, ball finials, red
brick wall stacks. H-plan. 2 storey, 3 bay front, outer bays
advanced and gabled, central bay also gabled. Half glazed
central door with pilastered surround, glazed lean-to
conservatory. To either side tripartite glazing bar sashes to
each floor in the form of projecting gabled bays. Over the door
a semi-circular headed window. To left a further gabled bay in
late C19 brickwork. To the rear later additions, a semi-
circular stair projection in red brick with semi-circular headed
stair light. Interior. Late C15 semi-circular stair case of 2
symmetrical flights with elegant narrow turned baluster.
Elliptical arch to stair hall. Joinery is decorated with
scalloped and edges and floriated details. Late C18 fireplace.
One chamfered beam in the hall.
