Former church, now house. 1849-50, reusing some C13 details,
altered c.1970 by Francis Johnson. Squared greenstone rubble
with limestone ashlar quoins and dressings. Decorative tiled
roof with raised lead coped gables with antefixae. Nave with
western bellcote and chancel with vestry. Central lancet at west
end, flanked by single C20 2 light mullioned windows. To the
gable a corbelled out octagonal bellcote with facetted pointed
roof. On the north side 2 pairs of lancets with moulded and
pointed surrounds. A single lancet and a 3 light C20 mullioned
window at high level. Panelled half glazed door to former
vestry. To the east gable of the nave a prominent C20 brick
chimney. In the east wall is a lancet, and in the chancel a 2
light window with trefoil heads and a sexfoil, in chamfered
pointed surround. On the south side a lancet to the chancel, and
in the nave 2 pairs of lancets and 2 three light C20 mullioned
windows above. The south door has C19 shafts and reveals and
reset early C13 moulded head with dogtoothing. Interior not
available for inspection.
