7/9 Church Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Early C18, C19, C20. Coursed ironstone rubble with
some red brick. Steeply pitched slate roofs with gable stacks
and single ridge stack, all with brick coping. 2 storeys and
garret. 4 bay front with off-centre doorway with round headed
moulded doorcase with raised keystone, flanking pilasters, plain
fanlight and 6 panelled door. Doorway flanked by long square bay
windows with modillion decoration and double french doors. C20
casement to left with red brick segmental head of original
opening above. 4 C20 casements above, all with red brick
lintels. C19 brick and ironstone extensions to rear.
