GV II

Watermill with attached stable. 1816. c1830, C20. Colourwashed brick. Corrugated
iron roof with decorated eaves. Pantiles. 2 storey, single gabled bay of mill
building to left with plinth. Single doorway set up above ground level with
segmental head and plank door. Small two light window to right. Rectagular
opening above with wooden lintel and plank door flanked by single narrow brenthen
lights. West side of 5 bays and 2 storeys with central large double plank doors
with wooden lintel. Slightly projecting gabled bay to right. 3 shuttered openings
above with segmental heads. 2 storey, 2 bay stable attached to right of main front
with pantile roof and large double plank doors with wooden lintel. Shuttered
opening with segmental head to right. Single shuttered opening above. Pair of
millstones in place inside mill building. Driving shaft intact under the road
joining the mill building to wheelhouse on other side of road.
