Cottage, 1800 with later C19 additions to rear. Coursed chalk
rubble, brick, render, pantiled roof with off centre ridge stack,
lobby entry plan. Single storey with attics, 3 bay rendered
front with off centre plank door, flanked by single glazing
bar Yorkshire sashes. All ground floor openings have segmental
heads. Above 3 dormers at eaves level with 2 light 3 pane
casements, sloping roofs and plain tiled sides. Gable end has
brick base and quoins to coursed chalk rubble wall. One ground
floor 2 light and one central first floor similar window,
inserted, with brick surround. At high level above this is
a datestone inscribed, 'AD MDCCC'.
