TA 11 SW BROCKLESBY BROCKLESBY PARK

1/11 Pigeon cote

G.V. II

Pigeon cote, early C19. Brick base, timber upper walls, slate
roof with pierced decorated bargeboards and pendent finial.
Single storey structure with door in gable wall. Central planked
door, clad externally with branches in the Rustic taste. The
wooden walls of the structure are similarly clad with Rustic
wooden panels. Above the door are 4 horizontal perches, providing
thresholds to the entrance to the pigeon loft within.
