4/135 Island Cottage

2 cottages, formerly one. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Rendered brick with raised brick coped gables and kneelers,
concrete interlocking tiles, axial ridge stack and one gable
stack. 2 storey 4 bay front, dentillated eaves course. Off
centre plank door with to left a 3 light C20 casement and to
right 2 similar windows with segmental heads. To first floor 3
similar windows with timber lintels. Inside are simply splayed
ceiling girders of late C17 character: the building was probably
timber framed originally with a baffle entry.
