6/8 Stable Block at
Brattleby Hall

G.V. II

Stable block. 1813. Coursed limestone rubble, hipped slate
roof. 2 storey, 9 bay front with central bay breaking forward
crowned by plain pediment. Central large elliptical carriage
arch with ashlar keystone. Ashlar shield above and shuttered
oculus. 4 blocked round headed openings to right of carriage
arch with 3 similar blocked openings to the left with glazed
round headed window beyond with sliding sash and fanlight.
Above second blocked opening to the left, an oculus with spokes.
