SK 79 SE EAST STOCKWITH FRONT STREET

House. c.1700 with late C18 and minor C20 alterations. Brown
brick, pantile roofs with raised brick coped gables and kneelers
and 2 brick stacks. 3 bay 3 storey front with 1st and 2nd floor
bands and dentillated dog tooth eaves course. The central C20
half glazed door has a leaded overlight and is flanked by single
glazing bar sashes. Above the door is a Sun Co. metal fire
insurance plaque. To 1st floor are 3 glazing bar sashes. All
ground and 1st floor openings have brick segmental heads. To
the 2nd floor are 3 smaller glazing bar sashes. The interior has
chamfered beams with simple stepped stops.
