Farmhouse. Early C19. Red brick with pantiled roof having 2
gable stacks. Garden front has 3 bays and 2 storeys with
garrets, eaves course. Central 6 panelled door with overlight,
flanked by glazing bar sashes; to first floor are 3similar
windows. All openings have brick segmental heads. Rear to road
has2 sliding 3 light Yorkshire sashes and central door, used as
dairy; first floor blank. The building is notably deep on plan
andseems unusually to have been designed to fulfil both retail
and domestic functions.
