SK 98 SE HACKTHORN MANOR HOUSE LANE

1/31 Barn and pigeon-
cote at Manor Farm

Barn and pigeoncote. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Limestone
rubble with ashlar quoins and brick dressings. Single storey
with central large planked sliding door in original opening with
to left a C19 double door with semi-circular brick head. Between
the openings are blocked breather holes. In the right hand gable
is a brick pigeoncote with 3 ledges and 4 flight holes to each
ledge. Below is a timber louvred opening with timber lintel.
The 11 bay pegged roof has through doublin purlins. Listed for
group value only.
